EMPLOYER ENGAGEMENT IN THE COMMUNITY

The Kingswood Partnership works with a wide range of external organisations to provide its students with a meaningful context for learning.  The organisations we work with include small, medium and large enterprises in the private sector, the public sector, training providers, not for profit organisations, colleges and universities.

A study by Deloitte found that:

"The involvement of employers, when done properly, motivates, inspires and informs young people, and prepares them for the workplace by making them aware of the skills and attitudes employers expect them to have."

We strongly support this view and have in place a Business Links Manager whose role is to establish longer term partnerships with employers and manage this in a strategic and sustainable way.
